The history of Leytens Diamonds

The family Leytens has been active in the Diamond and Jewelry business since 1839. On the 7th of September 1892 Achille Leytens was one of the founding members of the first Antwerp Diamond Club.

Since then all the succeeding generations were active in the Diamond World.

Today Ch.Leytens & Son Diamonds Belgium n.v. with chairman Mr. Leytens and his son Alexandre are proud to continue the family tradition of providing only the best polished diamonds and the finest exclusive handmade jewelry.

Andalusië: Traditie, gastronomie, flamenco & golf

SEVILLA - CADIZ - EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA - SEVILLA - GRANADA - SEVILLA - CORDOBA 

DAG 1 Frankrijk of België - SEVILLA

Vlucht(1) naar Sevilla. Inscheping aan boord vanaf 17u. Intrek in de cabines en voorstelling van de bemanning. Welkomstcocktail. Diner aan boord. Vrije avond. Aanlegplaats voor de nacht. 

DAG 2 SEVILLA - CADIZ

Ontbijtbuffet aan boord.

BEGELEIDERS: geleid bezoek te voet aan Sevilla. Vertrek op ontdekking van deze prachtige stad.

Terugkeer aan boord omstreeks 13u. Afvaart van de cruise en middagmaal aan boord. We varen over de grote stroom en u kan er een ongerepte natuur bewonderen waar de katoen- en de rijst-velden samengaan met een uitzonderlijke fauna. We varen voorbij het Park van Donana, beschermd door de Unesco als “natuurreservaat van de Biosfeer” en Sanlucar de Barrameda. Aankomst in de loop van de avond in Cadiz. Avondmaal aan boord. Om de avond in schoonheid te eindigen, begeleidt onze hostess u op ontdekking van Cadiz “by night”. 

DAG 3 CADIZ - EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA

Ontbijtbuffet aan boord.

GOLFERS: Facultatieve dag op het golfterrein van Sancti Petri in Cadiz. Het terrein werd ontworpen door de Nederlandse architect Alan Rijas. Het terrein huldigt de traditionele inrichting met 9 holes heen en 9 holes terug. Het terrein is plat en comfortabel, en onderscheidt zich door de grote vogel- en bloemenverscheidenheid, met olijfbomen, groene eiken en pijnbomen aan de rand van de lanen. Terugkeer van de golfers in El Puerto de Santa Maria.

BEGELEIDERS: geleid bezoek aan Cádiz te voet waarbij u de culturele en historische rijkdom zal kunnen bewonderen

Terugkeer aan boord voor het middagmaal. Afvaart van de cruise richting El Puerto de Santa Maria. Aankomst om 15u. Vertrek voor de excursie naar Jerez, hoofdstad van de wijn en het paard en wieg van de Flamencozang. Met een panoramische rondrit komt u langs de Alcazar, de kathedraal. Het bezoek wordt voortgezet langs een “ganaderia” (stierenfokkerij). Terugkeer aan boord in de loop van de avond. Diner onder het Spaans thema, gevolgd door animatie. Aanlegplaats voor de nacht. 

DAG 4 EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA - SEVILLA

Ontbijtbuffet aan boord.

GOLFERS:  Facultatieve dag op het golfterrein van Costa Ballena in Puerto de Santa Maria. Dit golfterrein is in een mooie omgeving gesitueerd en beschikt over een plat en technisch terrein, en een comfortabel parcours. Het werd gecreëerd door José Maria Olazabal en bestaat uit 27 holes, waarvan sommige zicht op zee hebben. Het is net naast Cadiz gelegen en beslaat  een oppervlakte van meer dan 400 hectaren. De hole 16 par 3 wordt gekenmerkt door zijn green in het midden van een meer.

BEGELEIDERS: vertrek voor het bezoek aan een bekende kelder waar u de geheimen van de specifieke wijn “Manzanilla” worden onthuld, gelegenheid tot proeven. Vervolgens wonen we een spektakel met paarden bij naar aloude traditie.

Terugkeer aan boord voor het middagmaal. Vrije tijd en afvaart van de cruise richting Sevilla in de namiddag. Avondmaal aan boord. Aankomst van het schip in de loop van de avond.

 

DAG 5 SEVILLA - GRANADA - SEVILLA

Na het ontbijtbuffet aan boord, vertrek per autocar voor de excursie naar Granada. Geleid bezoek aan de stad. Middagmaal in een restaurant in Granada. In de vroege namiddag vrije tijd in Granada, vervolgens terug per autocar naar Sevilla. Avondmaal aan boord en vrije avond.

 

DAG 6 SEVILLA

Ontbijtbuffet aan boord.

GOLFERS:  Facultatieve dag - Vertrek voor een dag in de golfclub van Hato Verde in Sevilla. Dit nieuw golf complex is gelegen in de noordelijke wijken van Sevilla. Het werd ontworpen door de beroemde Spaanse Ryder Cup, Manuel Piñero. Het is gelegen in een weelderige omgeving, omringd door eiken, populieren. Op dit origineel gebied van 50 hectare bevinden zich villa's, kanalen, meren en bunkers die een ware uitdaging zijn voor de spelers. Terugkeer aan boord in de late middag

BEGELEIDERS: vertrek per autocar voor de excursie naar een natuurpark, bezoek met een bosgids. Vervolgens trekken we naar een observatiesite voor vogels. Terugkeer aan boord voor het middagmaal. Vrije namiddag in Sevilla.

's Avonds, avondmaal aan boord gevolgd door een flamencoshow.

 

 

DAG 7 SEVILLA - CORDOBA

Ontbijtbuffet aan boord.

GOLFERS: overdag - Vertrek voor een dag op het golfterrein van Zaudin van Sevilla. Het is een van de beste golfclubs van Sevilla. Het werd gecreëerd door een golflegende, Gary Player. Het parcours baant zich een weg door de oude olijfbomen en sinaasappelboomgaarden en biedt een ware uitdaging aan golfers van alle niveaus. Terug aan boord op het einde van de namiddag.

BEGELEIDERS: vandaag vertrekken we voor een bezoek aan Cordoba. Vertrek 's morgens met de autocar richting Cordoba, de Kaliefenstad. Geleid bezoek aan de stad met de moskee-kathedraal; de Judéria, de oude Joodse wijk met de witte en bebloemde straatjes. Middagmaal met als specialiteit “tapas” in een restaurant. Namiddag, vrije tijd en terugkeer naar Sevilla waar het schip is aangemeerd.

Terugkeer aan boord. Galadiner en dansvond. 

DAG 8 SEVILLA - Frankrijk of België

Ontbijtbuffet aan boord. Ontscheping om 9u. Terugvlucht(1) vanuit de luchthaven van Sevilla naar Parijs of Brussel volgens de data van cruise. Einde van onze diensten.

Golf tourism constitutes a vital segment in the global travel and tourism marketplace. An estimated 600 million golfer visits will take place in 2014 to the 32,000 golf courses and resorts worldwide. The inaugural World Golf Awards will focus on the leading 130 nations who are shaping the future of this dynamic industry. Whilst celebrating and rewarding excellence across golf resorts, courses and the golfing destinations throughout the world, World Golf Awards will strive to ultimately raise the golf tourist customer experience and stimulate both the domestic and international golf tourism market.

The worldwide voting process begins at 08:00 (BST) on 1st May 2014. Votes will be made by professionals working within the golf travel and tourism industry – senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators, agents and media professionals. Votes may also be cast by the public (golf tourism consumers). The voting works on a first-past-the-post system to ensure impartiality and independence. Votes are submitted online via the World Golf Awards website. The winners of each national category will go head-to-head with the winners of the other countries before the unveiling of the World Winners.

World Golf Awards is part of World Travel Awards, currently celebrating its 21st anniversary as "the Oscars of the travel industry".

Dat ligt niet aan het uitstekend product, maar wel aan de kleine omvang van de Belgische markt, met zeer weinig professionele verdeelpunten, zodat de keuze voor de speler tot slechts enkele hoofdmerken beperkt wordt. Valle del Este Golf Resort, Almeria Spain October 14-21 2014

Valle del Este is located in a very important tourist destination on the east coast of Almeria (near to the villages of Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar) with more than three thousand hours of sun per year , which is more than any other territory within continental Europe.

The climate is pre-desert, with little rain and few windy days, with warm temperatures all year round, due to low humidity and a light breeze during summer which moderates the heat.

The Golf Course Valle del Este was designed by José Canales in 2003 conserving the natural pre-desert environment where it is located so that the building has practically preserved the contour of the original property, and the natural flora in the area is not directly affected by the golf course holes.
It is difficult to forget the characteristics of the golf course once you have played here once, with the contrast between the green lawns and fairways of the golf course and the golden yellow pre-desert surroundings. This is a view exclusive to a place like Almeria, the province which offers the most hours of sunlight per year in the whole of continental Europe, and where it is possible to enjoy this sport in winter wearing a t-shirt.
Each of the 18 holes of the golf course presents a different design, making each round a challenge for the players. As a consequence of this variety and design, players will long remember the essence of Valle del Este.
